Fall 2024 Welcome
Our trio of directors—Denise Marquette [Celebration Singers], Stephanie Eakle [Grace Notes], and Carol Anne Parkinson [Men of Notes] have been busy over the summer planning our fall term. A huge thank you for their dedication and commitment. We are in good hands.
Your choir board has also been busy planning for the fall term and we’re looking forward to singing with you this term. Most of you completed a survey last term. We listened and in response we’ve made some changes.
The website is being updated and will be accessible to all devices. Thanks to Stephanie Eakle for finding us a reliable practice track site that will provide consistency for all our tracks. We’re looking at creative ways to include additional clinicians in our workshops and we’re looking at ways to improve sight and sound at the rehearsal space.
Registration through the website (www.celebrationsingers.ca) opens on August 1, 2024.
We ask all singers to register online as this is part of our safe singing health plan. Term fee is $135.00 per choir and is payable by e-transfer to [email protected] after August 1 or by cash/cheque on Sept. 16.

Board Communications & Openings
Your volunteer choir board takes care of all the administrative details so the directors can direct and the singers can sing!
We are open to questions, comments and new ideas. Board info and openings can be found under the Board tab in the Members section (https://www.celebrationsingers.ca/open-board-positions.html). We’re currently seeking a Public Relations/Social Media person, a vice-chair and a Celebration Singers bass section leader.
Each choir has section leaders or a communications rep ready to answer any of your questions. Their contact info is listed on the website under the Members tab—Section Leaders (https://www.celebrationsingers.ca/section-leaders.html)
We are looking forward to an exciting term with our directors, accompanists and, of course, with each of you!
On behalf of our board and directors and accompanists,
Kelly Finlayson, chair
