Fall 2024 SCHEDULE |
2024 Fall Term
Registration opens August 1, 2024
14 week fall term runs from September 9th or 12th to December 9th or 12th including Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day and Hallowe’en.
Rehearsals start on Monday, Sept. 9th for Grace Notes (5:15-7:00pm) and Celebration Singers (7:15-9:00pm) at Comox Presbyterian Church, 725 Aspen Rd, Comox.
Rehearsals start on Thursday, Sept. 12th for Men of Notes (5:15-7:00 pm) at St. George’s United Church, 505 6th St, Courtenay.
Term fee is $135.00 per choir and is payable by e-transfer to [email protected] on or after August 1st 2024 or by
cash/cheque on Monday, September 16th or Thursday, September 19th.
Printed music will be handed out at the first rehearsals.
Attendance will be recorded at each rehearsal by Celebration Singers section leaders and Grace Notes & Men of Notes communication representatives. Our safe singing health plan remains in effect—please stay away if you’re unwell.
Fall Workshops:
Men of Notes: Saturday, October 5th from 10am-1pm with Carol Anne Parkinson & Andrew Sims at Comox Presbyterian Church, 725 Aspen Rd. Comox.
Celebration Singers: Saturday, October 19th from 9am-1pm with Denise Marquette & Sean Mooney with the addition of guest clinician, Carol Anne Parkinson.
Grace Notes: Saturday, October 19th from 1:30-5:30pm with Stephanie Eakle & Sean Mooney with the addition of guest clinician, Fiona Blackburn.
Winter Concerts & Dress Rehearsal:
St. George’s United Church, 505 6th St, Courtenay.
Tuesday, December 10th – dress rehearsal on risers for all choirs. Concert attire not necessary; call time to be determined.
Concerts: Friday, December 13th at 7pm and Saturday, December 14th at 2pm. Concert attire; call time to be determined.
Please note:
This year, we’ll be sharing our performance weekend at St. George’s United Church with the Comox Valley Children’s Choirs. Our concert schedules have been carefully coordinated between our groups and will run independently of each other. Our green room will be the multipurpose room downstairs.
