Making Music Make Sense - a course for choristers

Complement your choir experience with a mini-course for choristers.  Led by veteran choral professor, Dr. John Hooper, this four week course will explore inner listening skills and the relationship to the printed music.  Finding effective score markings, along with tips and tricks to find notes and rhythms, can be applied to the music for any choir.  Tackling concepts beyond repertoire preparation and vocal technique, is like “teaching one to fish” so that regular choir rehearsals can be more effective and enjoyable.  

Choristers from any choir (or none) are welcome to join.  
Four week course:
Mondays, Sept 22, Sept 29, Oct 6, Oct 13 (Thanksgiving, by the way)
 5:15-6:15, Comox Valley Presbyterian Church
