The Fall term starts in September and the Spring term starts in January of each year. We perform a Christmas concert, usually two shows and one Spring show in May usually at the Sid Williams Theatre. We also have a one day workshop per term and occasionally perform in local festivals or benefit concerts.
All new members will meet with the musical director for a group session to determine voice placement after the first rehearsal of each term.
Please be present and on time for all rehearsals, sectionals, and performances. If you need to miss an occasional rehearsal please inform your section leader. Please discuss plans for extended absences with section leader or musical director. To perform in concerts you must not miss more than three rehearsals per term.
To prepare for performances, we ask our members to attend regularly scheduled sectional rehearsals and to practice, at home. To assist learning there are practice tracks, audio-video song samples and weekly rehearsal plans available on the website.
All returning and new members must register through the website prior to the first rehearsal of the fall term. Early registration will help us prepare more efficiently for the term. Please note the SATB choir now has a 30 member cap for the Soprano and Alto sections. To assure a spot in those sections, register early, late registrations will have the choice of a wait list or joining the SSAA women's ensemble if numbers allow. You will receive a web password at the first rehearsal which will give you access to the members only area of this website where you will find more helpful tools and information.

Dues are set by the board and are collected by the section leaders at the beginning of each term. If Dues are a hardship and in order to be inclusive, alternative financial arrangements may be discussed with your section leader. All inquiries are confidential. FALL Term 2018 dues: SATB=$100, SSAA=$70 and TTBB=$50. Your fee includes use of music and members password to access members only tab allowing you to download mp3 practice tracks from this website and to view other important information. You must provide your own black 3 ring binder, 1.5 inch ring is suggested to properly fit sheet music.
